Mercy Roa Sullivan

President & CEO

Mercy’s family arrived in North Pole, Alaska in 1992, and moved to Anchorage in 1999, where she established a Bake Shop catering to thousands of Filipino Americans in the area. In 2005, she opened the All About Care, Inc. assisted living facility, and eventually closed the bake shop. 19 years later, Mercy owns three facilities, extending outstanding health care services to Anchorage elders and stable jobs to caregiver providers.

An accomplished baker, traditional dancer and chef, Mercy has been one of the pillars of the Filipino American community in Alaska, holding several positions and serving on different non-profit community organizations (NPOs). Mercy has also supported, volunteered and conducted different fundraising activities for many civic, social and educational causes, including, but not limited to, Alzheimer's Association, YWCA, St. Jude’s Hospital, Hospice of Anchorage, and to the youth and senior population of Anchorage.

As a major benefactor and philanthropist, Mercy has contributed to NPOs both in the US and the Philippines.

Her Journey,

During the last five years, Mercy has found herself supporting hundreds of foreign educators and other skilled workers - providing them with food, housing and transportation assistance upon their arrival in Anchorage. “These are cultural exchange visa professionals that were hired to work in the remote areas of Alaska. They came with no formal training or assistance on how to travel from Anchorage to their remote places of work,” Mercy stated. “My family and I acted jointly to make sure they get all the necessary help they need.

Consistent with MRS L L C’s “mission statement of helping others”, a unique administrative and training program was created to assist qualified individuals in obtaining their dreams of having a better life in Alaska, utilizing their educational background, skills and experience.
